A: Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM daily. Hours may adjust based on member demand, events, and tournaments.

Q: Will my membership automatically renew?
A: Yes.
- Monthly plans renew monthly unless cancelled in writing 30 days before renewal.

Q: Is there an initiation fee?
A: A $300 initiation fee applies, but it is waived for members joining during the pre-sale period. This promotion may end at any time.
Q: How does the pre-sale deposit work?
A: Pre-sale members paying monthly place a non-refundable deposit equal to their first month’s dues.
- Deposits convert to club credits at opening, usable for programs, clinics, open plays, and court bookings.
- Credits cannot be used for monthly membership payments or pro shop purchases.
Q: Do club credits expire?
A: No. Club credits remain valid indefinitely until used.
Q: How many hours can I book?

- Unlimited Members: 3 hours of included daily court time, with additional hours available at Core member rates.
- Core Members: Pay-per-use for all bookings.
Q: What are prime-time booking rules?
A: Prime time is currently 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM weekdays (subject to change).
- Members can book one 1-hour or 2-hour session during prime time.
- A 1-hour gap is required before any additional bookings.
Q: Can I freeze my membership?
A: Yes. Members may freeze their membership twice per 12 months in 30 day increments
Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: Submit a written request to team@ontariopickleballacademy.com at least 30 days before your next billing date.
- Requests outside standard policy are reviewed case by case and may be subject to administrative fees.
Q: Do I need to sign a waiver?
A: Yes, all members must sign the Facility Start Waiver through Playbypoint before participating.
Q: What type of shoes are required?
A: Non-marking court shoes are mandatory to protect surfaces and reduce injury risks.
Q: Will events affect my bookings?
A: OPA hosts tournaments and special events throughout the year. Members will be notified well in advance of any scheduling impacts.
